She Understood Her Assignment
2 Corinthians 5:7 Amplified
For we walk by faith, not by sight [living our lives in a manner consistent with our confident belief in God’s promises]—
As a woman of faith + favor, you must understand the assignment God has given you to live a lifestyle of faith. Your assignment changes as times and seasons change, but your faith must continue to grow.
Some assignments will require you to walk by faith on rocky paths, but when you understand your assignment, you simply put on the proper shoes to walk it out.
Some assignments require you to walk alone for a season, and you must be ok with God knowing what’s best for you. Walking by faith in a season of isolation usually is leading you to deliverance, or leading you to safety, or leading you to humility etc. Or to walk out private matters, that will lead you to a powerful testimony, that will bring God the glory.
We often neglect the steps in which we don’t want to walk out because of fear, rejection, insecurities, discomfort, or just because the scenery doesn’t look exciting. When you step out on faith, you will learn that you will experience new people, places, and things along the way. Gods favor will be along the path of obedience.
Psalms 37:23 The steps of a [good and righteous] man are directed and established by the LORD, And He delights in his way [and blesses his path].
The message in this all, is to go to God, and get your ordered steps, that go along with his plans. It’s easier to have faith for the things that you hoped for, but you must also remember that you must have faith for the things God hopes for you. Things that may not be on your agenda, or in your plans. Things that he may require, things that disrupts the normalcy of your life. Things that are beyond your understanding yet your faith unlocks wisdom.
Hebrews 11:1 Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.
